Me and Us

My name is Nicole. I am wife to my husband Ryan. We met in 2006 and married in 2010. We quickly started our family, therefore I am also a mama to 3. Nicolas is our oldest. He's sweet, cuddly, very analytical and loves to have the last word. He's a libra so that should tell you something. Raegan is our middle child. She is the perfect fit to that saying "Whiskey in a teacup." I realize that that saying is usually meant to describe a southern woman however the idea of a strong will in a beautifully petite container is what would describe our Raegan to the T. And our last, Rhett. He was the baby that almost wasn't. There is a 6 year age difference between Raegan and him. He was very much planned despite what people may assume. Since he is still an infant it's hard to describe how he is other than really stinkin cute. What I can say about him is that he is very much loved by all of us probably more than we expected. So that is us, in a nutshell. As for me, I'm not sure what I am supposed to write. Am I supposed to jot down a few of my likes and dislikes? Well, here goes... I am named after my grandpa, Nicola. I have an older sister and a younger brother. My most fondest memories growing up were with my grandparents either camping, going for drives, running errands or just playing at their house with my older cousins. My mom is one of my very best friends and I now tell her just about everything, unlike when I was 16. Generally speaking a few of my likes/loves are as follows: The color pink or purple. Mexican, Chinese, Thai, Italian food. Reese's and Snickers. Cheesecake and ice cream. I don't prefer coke over pepsi or vice versa but the cherry flavor of either are the best. I love to read and write but don't do enough of either. I would say I collect books because I prefer to buy over renting them from the library but don't ask me to borrow any of my books, they are like my children. Dogs over cats and I love elephants..really any wild animals are very fascinating but not birds, I hate all birds. They freak me out. Baseball over any sport, to watch not to play..I do not have a sporty bone in my body. The Los Angeles Dodgers are life. I love flowers and don't particularly have a favorite but some that come to mind are peonies, sunflowers, hydrangeas, roses, daisies, and I love how simple yet beautiful baby's breath can be. Strawberries, apples, mangoes, pineapple, and any melon. I love some good inspirational quotes, podcasts, and books. Candles. I love lighting candles. I've tried essential oils and wax burning but nothing beats candles. That's all I can really think of right now and if I think of any more I'll add them as I go but I think this is good.
