Fun with my son

My little monster is becoming more and more explorative so I'm trying to find more sensory things for him to do. Here's just a couple things that I've tried so far..

we tried finger painting a few days ago and the more messy he got with the paint, the more he wanted nothing to do with it! haha we'll revisit this later to see if he has developed a liking for it. Mom had fun though!

Today we explored play dough and baby boy really liked the texture. He had so much fun poking it, mixing the colors, using cookie cutters, putting them back in the cups, rolling it in his hands. This activity we will definitely mark down as "love." He didn't even think to put it in his mouth until the very end because he broke off a piece of the yellow and said "banana" so of course I repeated and explained to him that it looked like a banana, so he put it in his mouth and found out quickly it was nasty! At least he knows he's not missing out on anything by not putting it in his mouth in the future.
