At the end of September, my husband and I discovered we are expecting again! We are over the moon excited for our newest addition. I loved being pregnant with Nicolas and so far this pregnancy has proved to be just as great. This time however, the mornings have been not so very nice. I haven't gotten sick but certain smells definitely test me. I don't remember being as tired with Nicolas but per my husband I slept all the time. I can't wait for my belly to start poking out instead of just feeling pudgy. I can't wait to feel the baby wiggle and squirm and kick. (that was by far my favorite)
I'd be lying if I didn't admit my feelings of nervousness. It's definitely different going from just you and your husband to the two of you plus a baby. Then you get that routine down, and now you have to picture how life will adapt to TWO children. It's definitely something I have to wrap my head around. Since having Nicolas, my health insurance has changed, so I am no longer able to see the Dr. that delivered him. (Who I was absolutely in love with) Now I'm with Kaiser and know nothing about it so I'm not too keen on the idea of delivering there.
I had my first prenatal visit yesterday where I met my Nurse Practitioner and filled out a book of paperwork. I did get to do some cool things at that visit as well, like get my blood drawn and see my little gummy bear. Who is now 9 weeks in gestational age. This precious little boy or girl is expected to arrive on June 1, 2012 and we're thrilled to meet him/her! (Crossing my fingers it's a healthy beautiful baby girl)
YAYYYY!! I am so excited for you! Nothing like seeing that baby on the screen. That's so cool you are going to have two babies so close together, Steve & I want to do the same :) Congratulations girl!
