Fun filled Saturday

Saturday was free museum day and we decided to take Nicolas to the Sacramento Children's Museum in Rancho Cordova. Unfortunately Ryan had to work that day so my mother-in-law came along with us. We had a blast! This place is totally kid friendly! It advertises to entertain children from birth to age 8. There was a toddler room where we spent most of our time but we did venture out to the water section where Nicolas could splish splash and then to the art area where he could paint on a huge glass wall. (which by the way I want to copy somewhere in our home)

 

 

That afternoon we met up with some family at the Folsom Zoo. I had never been (and obviously neither had Nicolas) so we were excited! There weren't a whole lot of animals but it was definitely a good time. After touring the zoo we went on a little train ride they had right outside the exhibit. Of course Nicolas loved it!

Saturday was so much fun!
