I LOVE FRIDAYS

9:00am ::We took my mom and grandma to the airport so they could fly out to Louisiana to be with my sister for the arrival of her baby. Then because we were out and about we decided to make a stop at Petsmart to spoil our pup a bit.

10:00am ::In my last blog I mentioned how she needed a new bed (one with industrial strength) because she kept ruining them. Last time we were there we saw one made by Kong that advertised to be durable and it was on SALE! (it's almost begging to be purchased)

10:30am ::Made a stop at Barnes and Noble to see if I could find some new books for my boy. I was suuuuuuuuuper excited when I laid my eyes on "Because a Little Bug went Ka-CHOO!" It's a book that my sister and I used to read when we were little! (why is it so exciting when I can pass something along to my baby from my childhood?) Nicolas roamed around and played with the train table they had which promted me to make a mental note that we need to get him one someday. I love watching him play. His discovery is so innocent and wonderful. Seeing how he figures things out is amazing.

11:30am ::Already picked up lunch and we were on our way to visit daddy at work. Nicolas absolutely LOVED running around in the offices and playing with daddy and his coworkers. Anyone that is willing to play he instantly makes friends with. We ate lunch and after Nicolas released some energy, it was time for a nap so we headed home.

12:45pm ::Made it home safe and sound from the down pour rain that was happening outside. Got Nicolas his milk and laid him in bed. I did some tidying up around the house. Did a load of laundry. Gave Nala her toys and new bed and let her go to town. It didn't take her long at all to chew them to shreds, not completely but there were definitely some scraps I had to go around and pick up.

2:00pm ::Got out of the shower (being rained on makes me feel gross) only to hear Nicolas talking, singing, and laughing up a storm. Almost as loud as the one happening outside. After realizing he was not going to nap, I got him and went to read our new books. He was also curious as to what new thing Nala got too. I wanted to get some crafty time in and possibly paint both my toes and fingers but the paint only happened for my feet. Maybe I'll have time once Nicolas goes to bed...after I clean up a little...and after I fold the laundry and put it away...after I possibly finish one of my many crafts that I've started...and after I cuddle with my hunny...Uhhhh..I guess we'll see if it gets done..

Since then my boy and I have just been lounging..playing..reading..snacking..tickling..laughing..
