I don't really have one specific thing to blog about that would require more than a picture and a few sentences but I do have a bunch of little bits of news to share.
Every morning before we head out the door, Nicolas grabs whatever toy or book he seems to find interesting and will throw a fit if he cannot take it with him to daycare. He will have a death grip on whatever object it is and will be so excited to show Aunt Rose when we arrive. It's pretty adorable. This morning it was one of his new books I got for him over the weekend. He just HAD to take it! When I got him out the car, he ran right up to her door eager to show it off.
I DID IT! I cut my hair. Well I didn't do it of course, but my wonderful friend Tahnee did! And she did an EXCELLENT job! I am absolutely in love with my new do!
Over this last week we set up our new fish tank that our Aunt Michelle got Nicolas for Christmas. (I know a few months late!) Anyway we decided we wanted to get tropical fish because they're prettier (my words) and cooler (husband's words). We had to let the water filter for at least 48 hours so the fish wouldn't go into shock and die so on Thursday Ryan brought home 4 fish. 3 mini blue and orange something-or-rathers and a mini catfish. Day 1- One of the pretty fish died. Day 2- Another one of the pretty fish died. Day 3- Last pretty fish died. We noticed last night that our catfish is the most active now that he has the whole tank to himself. Wonder if he had anything to do with the deaths..? HAHA
Over the weekend Nicolas got spoiled by his Grammy. We met up at the Galleria Mall so he could get some new shoes and some clothes. I LOVE VANS! (especially for little boys, I just think they are adorable!) He previously had some Vans that had laces but I'm over tying his shoes when he now knows how to "untie" them even when knotted! So slip on's it is!
On Sunday, after church Ryan wanted to treat us to breakfast since we had Mass at 8am. (I cannot tell you the last time I went to 8 o'clock Mass:: waaaaaay too early) It was the cutest thing however, when we got out of the car Nicolas spotted an earth worm that he wanted to touch! Such a BOY!
I realized last night after receiving yet another magazine in the mail, that I ZERO time to look over the magazines I have already. And wouldn't you know it..they just keep coming! I made a mental note to dedicate try to at least, an hour to get through them all so I can toss them if need be.
Yesterday I gained a NEPHEW! (my third one to be exact!) My sister sent me a picture of him and he is absolutely ADORABLE! (I won't be posting a picture on my blog though out of respect) Just take my word for it..he is scrumptious! Makes me suuuuuper excited that much more to welcome my baby soon!
