Today I changed Nicolas' sippy cups. Lately, I've been a little fed up with his cups.
They look cute..Nicolas really dug the Cars and Toy Story characters. However, Mom has had it. On the opposite end of the spout there is a hole for the air to flow and most of the time when I fill the cup, the liquid bubbles out of that end. So frustrating! Especially when I pack it in his lunch bag or in his backpack because I'd notice other things would get wet. Another thing that was kind of frustrating was the cleaning. It seemed like I could never really get them (the spout) clean. I'd have to soak them in hot water so all the excess milk residue would come out. gross.
Yesterday, as I was talking to my sister, she recommended I try these.
They are super cheap. (Price not made) SOLD! $2.95 for 5 cups? Sure worth a try. And I LOVE them! Nicolas didn't seem to mind the change neither. They don't leak at all, Nicolas has even thrown them and they seem to be pretty durable. The lids are interchangable and as he gets older I can purchase the same cups that come with the lid and straw. Then when he's ready for regular cups I can use no top at all. Seems like a great investment to me. Today was our first day trying them out so I have yet to wash away milk but as I was examining them earlier, I don't think I'll have the same problem like I did with the oldies.
Although I would love to get paid for this advertisment, I'm not.
