Family Update 3 of 4

Nicolas

My boy! My smart boy! My handsome boy! Ohhh...what's not new with him? He's talking up a storm and repeating pretty much everything he hears! (I'm starting to be well aware of what I say) He is so social. Loves to play with anyone that will allow him. OBSESSED with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Jake and the Neverland Pirates is an understatement. It's pretty much all he will "sit" still for. He'll be turning 2 in less than 17 days! I can and can't believe it. He is too smart for his own good and is definitely a boy. Loves to try and figure things out like for instance, he already knows how to buckle up his sister's car seat straps, bottom and across the chest and knows how to undo it also. He never seems to stop impressing me with the things he can do and say. The other day I was calling for my husband from the living room ("Ryyyyyaaaaaannnn") and no sooner after Nicolas was running to him yelling out his name also! So funny!

LOVES trains! 

I got him a piggy bank and he gets so excited when he gets money to put in it.

I changed his bed into a toddler bed and he does as good as any two year old could be expected!

Not perfect but we'll get there.

He loves his sister so...

Nicolas, I am so excited for you to turn 2 that I can hardly stand it! You are loved by so many and it's obvious why. Don't ever lose your humor, fun and wonder. The bits of attitude you show us from time to time I could do without but I know you are still learning independence. I love you with all my heart and am having so much fun watching you grow!
