My darling girl, you are now 6 months! Wow time sure has flown by! I am loving watching you grow. You gain more and more personality everyday. Having you apart of our family is such a blessing. I love seeing your sweet smiles from across the room. You watch my every move when we're in the same room and I just soak up how precious you are. I'd have to say that aside from me, daddy is your favorite person.
You fall asleep when being held by him every time! Not even exaggerating either! You are becoming more and more aware of your brother and squeal and giggle every time he comes near you.
It's the sweetest thing ever! This month I finally did away with your swing because it's been acting a little off. Sometimes it would swing and sometimes it wouldn't. I put you in your highchair a lot because you're still not sitting up on your own yet so I bring you into every room I go into if I know I'll be doing something. You love to be in the kitchen with me while I cook and wash dishes because I put on pandora and sing to you.
You just sit there and smile at me. Warms my heart for sure! This month I'm excited to celebrate Christmas with you. It'll obviously be your first and I intend to snap dozens of pictures of you and your brother during all our holiday festivities!
New this month
I'd say things are pretty much the same as they were last month. We finally put your crib up and did away with your bassinet. Not because you got too big for it but I was pretty anxious to get it set up for you.
Sleeping
You are still sleeping through the night but have decided to make your bedtime later than usual these past few days. 11 pm seems to be when you are definitely down for the night.
Eating
Just the other day I decided to try you out on solids. Peas. And guess what? You loved it! Once your brother got wind of what I was giving you he wanted some also! I wasn't a big fan of the baby cereals so this time around I decided to skip that intro.
You still however do not hold your bottle. This is getting ridiculous! The other day in fact I tried to force you to hold it by putting your hands on the bottle but eventually you shifted your head in a position so you no longer had to support it. Sneaky little thing. I knew before birth you would be a princess!
This month has seriously flown by I think because of all these holidays. Like I stated earlier, you are such a blessing and such a joy to have in our house. I find myself having a hard time remembering what it was like before you came along and now that you're here I feel like you complete our family just a little bit more. Your daddy and I are so in love with you and just love spending time with you.
Love you forever and ever, to the moon and back, to infinity and beyond!
