Family Update 4 of 4/ 4 months

My princess girl you  turned 4 months! I've said it before and I'll say it again, you are the best baby I have ever come across! No lie! I love you more today than I did yesterday and tomorrow I'll love you even more. You bring such a completion to our family that I could never have dreamed of. I love watching how happy you make your daddy and brother when they interact with you. You exert joy from every pore! I am having the best time being your momma and cannot wait to see what this next month brings!

NEW THIS MONTH
Not too much. You love sitting up (with help) and watching what's going on around you. You have started grabbing at things like my shirt and toys. You notice your surroundings more and your attention is caught easily. You LOVE looking in the mirror. Even you like staring at yourself, you're just that beautiful. You did get your first batch of sickness this month which was not fun at all because your brother was sick also. You were spitting/throwing up and I felt so bad for you. All you wanted to do was cuddle with momma and of course I did just that with you.

You can just see the "sicky" in your eyes. Broke my heart.

SLEEPING
Still sleeping like an angel. You go to bed anywhere between 9:30pm and 10:30pm and sleep until 8am on days I don't have to go to work and on days I do work I wake you up at 6:15am. You are always so happy in the mornings.

You love sleeping in your boppy and exactly like this picture, with your arms up by your head. I can't help but love to watch you sleep. You look so peaceful.

EATING
You are still great with this also. Still, you eat 4 ounces of formula at every feeding and so far so good. No solids yet. Maybe after your 5th month birthday.

You love to hold my hand as you eat. I LOVE IT!

CRYING
Non existent. You screech but no crying unless you get hurt or startled. And even then, it's only for a quick minute and I can calm you down in no time.

LIKES
Looking in the mirror. Squealing. Laying on her play mat. Swinging in her swing. Being held. Being talked to. Being tickled.

DISLIKES
She hates not being paid any attention.

TALKING
Not doing any actual talking but you do "coo" a lot. Sometimes it's in little whispers and sometimes it's like you're yelling at us.

HYGEINE
I still give you baths every other day and you seem to love them more and more as you get older. You just love looking and cooing at me while I wash you. You smile and giggle every time I wash under your arms. Silly girl.

TEETH
You have that one tooth (that I thought already punctured through but I was jumping the gun) that is visible. You are drooling so much and thank goodness you've been tolerating the discomfort very well.

You forever have a bib on otherwise your clothes would be soaked in drool.

LEARNING
You have discovered your hands and love to stare at them. You grab for toys. You grab at my mouth when I cradle you. You full on laugh when I tickle you and I love it!

PERSONALITY
You are so relaxed and love to sit back and watch. Your grandma and I joke that you will sit and watch your brother get into trouble all your life. You are so happy and smile all the time. You love to laugh and "talk" any chance you get. You are getting more and more familiar with faces. You know who your daddy and brother are because you just light up like shooting star.

SOMETHING FUNNY
Because of your constant squealing, I was contemplating dressing you up as a cat. (Still am..maybe for a day costume??)
